252K views · 704 reactions | We came across this flowstone-covered rope inside an Alabama cave. It’s used for a short climb up to reach another rappel on the other side. Luckily, we were able to boost someone up the climb and flip the rope so we could use the end that wasn’t encased in flowstone. This is a great reminder that if you leave a rope rigged in a cave, always hang it out of the path of dripping water, or it can become part of the cave! #caves #Alabama | TAG Caver | Facebook
