Congress should have that power, not the president, some say, after Trump removed Library of Congress head Carla Hayden from her post.

Hayden was notified in an email late Thursday from the White House’s Presidential Personnel Office that she was being fired effective immediately.

Carla Hayden, the first woman and African American to occupy the position, had been targeted in recent days by a right-leaning group.
